The motorcycle market back in the U.S. has been hit on all fronts by the economic crisis. Harley-Davidson seems to be among the hardest hit and have speculateing lay-offs and even a plant closure. In France, things are not quite the same. HD has actually been the strongest player of late in realizing over a 91% increase in sales in comparison to the same month last year. Most of the European manufacturers have also seen a significant increase in sales, while only Kawasaki among the Japanese marques has seen an tiny increase.
